I have decided that there is no longer a need for the Harry Potter and iPhone trackers so they are being taken down. Both of these items are widely available now and there is no need to clog bandwidth with these trackers. We will save both the processor and bandwidth resources for better items… like the Wii!
I have updated eToys and added new Wii Bundles, #9 & #10 replacing the previously existing Bundles #7 & #8. If you were previously signed up for either #7 or #8, then you are automatically signed up for #9 & #10 respectively. However, if you were not, you better act quick and grab one of the Wii units currently in stock (July 26th) or sign up for future alerts.
I have added the FragFX Controller to the list under PS3 Tracker. If you would like to be notified of when this product comes in stock at either GameStop or Amazon, just sign up for the email alerts. Currently, I am running the check every 60 minutes.
Nintendo announced two new accessories coming out soon. Each of them are pretty cool too!
It appears that Gamestop has discontinued the Super Bundle. I have gone ahead and removed if from the tracker.
First was the elimination of the 20GB model, which from the onset was a horrible idea… Who the hell would want a system without a wireless controller and 40GB less storage space for only $100 less. Then came the price drop on the 60GB to $499!
The move by Sony was initiated by a variety of factors I am sure. One of their claims was due to production line improvements obviously with the Blu-Ray. Second has to be to increase sales. Third had to be the 360 Elite and it’s $479 price tag. And lastly, to increase Blu-Ray sales.
The first reason I can buy for sure… as issues and errors diminish this decreases your costs to produce a unit. Continue Reading this Article…
Yes, there were errors flying around the last two days or so for the iPhone at AT&T. I have corrected this.
I have also now added the Apple Store to the list of places being tracked now. It appears at the launch that this will be the only place to purchase the iPhone online. As of right now there is a 2-4 week waiting period, hence why I have it listed as Preorder. Until this shifts to a more reasonable shipping time frame, say around 1-3 days, this status will remain.
As the days continue to roll, the Elite continues to hide from the hands of people. Is Microsoft trying to build up the same momentum that the Wii currently has? Spotty stock options appear at random at times and can not be judged for future release scheduling. When stock does reveal itself; it usually only lasts minutes. Hang in there and sign up for email alerts, be patient, and be ready; you will get yours.
Yes, Sears has a horrible inventory system. I know this, but my hands are pretty much tied. I can either delete it and stop checking for in stock availability or we can all deal with the errors that their site provides. I have chosen the later of the two. If the errors are driving you crazy, I would suggest that you just unsubscribe from the Sears alert and wait for one of the other stores to receive stock. I know it can be really disheartening, but those are the only options we have available.
Sorry for all your frustrations,
Justin
It appears that they have changed the bundle page to a console only page. I can only assume why they have done this. My assumption is that there are certain stores across the country that have the consoles in stock and they are trying to promote this.
My advice is to click on the link, follow the Buy Now button, enter your zip code, and check local store inventory. If you are a lucky customer that shows inventory in stock, add to cart, and buy right away with the option to pick up in store. This will ensure that you are purchasing the unit without having to run to the store and end up being disappointed if they run out of stock.
