In case you have received your alert and went to Best Buy site only to see a “Sold Out Online” indicator (blue squares), you just need to dig a little further. In the screen shot below you can see that you just need to click on the name of the unit (red arrows) you want, then on the next page click “add to cart.” This will allow for you to purchase the unit. Their site has a tendency to be a little slow to update these indicators even though stock is available.

Wow, it has already been nearly a month since I added some news to the site. Basically I have been ignoring the site a lot, but not totally. I just needed a break.

I have been adding some more Wii Fit’s to the site, but also Playstation 3 Metal Gear Solid Bundles. As a result, I wanted to post to make sure all were aware that the Playstation 3 alerts are being sent via the NowInStock Email System or the RSS feed. If you want the email alerts, you will have to signup to each store you wish to receive alerts for. I setup the system this way to ensure that you only got alerts for the products you wanted. The bad part is I do not have the functionality coded yet to auto add you, if wanted, to other stores as I add them to the tracker. In the last day I have added the following stores:

• Sony Style
• Circuit City
• Best Buy

I also added Walmart a while back. These, accompanied with the already listed Amazon, takes the total stores tracked for the Metal Gear Solid bundle to five stores in all. I noticed that GameStop had the bundle on their site as well, but there is  no way I am adding it whenever they are charging $554 dollars for it.

Well, that about sums it up. Hopefully you will see new features down the line as I begin to prepare for the next holdiay season. And as always, if you have any products you wish NowInStock would track, PLEASE do not hesitate on sending them in!

As some of you may have already noticed from the grotesque notice at the top of each page, the Wii Fit Tracker is now live. I have added a decent amount of stores to the list. Nothing to extreme. These are all of the places that will give me a commission on sales of the units, so please use the links.

Since there is only one model at this time, which is White, I have labeled the models as White. (“A” for Creativity, huh?) I am not sure why they made a product that you put your feet on white other than the obvious being the console is white, but I can’t imagine this thing staying clean long. This based on the notion that kids will be playing outside in the yard only to come in and place their grassed-stained feet on it. Before long, I envision a mess. This is why i am recommending that you also pick up one of the Silicone Sleeves to help protect it. I see the Clear version is being released on June 12th, but the Pink and Blue are supposedly available. However, at Amazon it still says preorder regardless of which color you select. Go figure!

Today Amazon is offering Assassin’s Creed for only $29.99. That is $10 less than what they had the game for back on March 18th and $30 less than current retail price. This is when I typically get my games, if I can resist this long. Grab your copy today before the price goes back up.

Holy Moly, Best Buy is selling Wii’s for $249.99, snag them up! I am starting to have the sense that Nintendo might actually be meeting demand. Although, last year there was a slowdown over the summer and early fall months, this time it is much earlier and could be a sign of stock outweighing demand. Over 30 minutes later, and the console is still available!

Now at 1:00 EST, Amazon has received them. I guess today is Wii delivery day, as the freighter just docked in Seattle, and the trucks are already leaving the port stocked full.

Well, the double shot of Wii’s in stock was received today. First was Circuit City early this morning and now Amazon early this afternoon. I hope all of you get one.

Amazon is currently offering the the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for only $39.99. That is approximately $20 off the retail price. This may also be the sign of a permanent price drop for the game in the near future. One thing to note, as of writing this post, there are only 5 units left in stock, so you better hurry and Buy It Now!

Today’s deal of the day in video games at Amazon is Trauma Center: New Blood for the Wii for only $32.99. This is $17 off the current retail price of the game. Pick it up today before the deal disappears at the end of the day. The game has 4 stars out of 5 from with a total of 19 reviews.

Just got my txt message and there was no stock. But after refreshing for a few minutes there they were. Using a different method to track sometimes alerts come quicker than what is shown on the site… so continue to refresh for a few minutes.
