It is quite clear that finding Zhu Zhu Pets, Zhu Zhu Pets Accessories, and Mindflex has become quite daunting. At NowInStock.net, we currently have thousands of people subscribed to email alerts and this can put a drag on the overall delivery times in which an email is queued to be sent and when it actually leaves the server. In order to alleviate this issue and to ensure email alert deliveries are in your hands as fast as possible, this morning we released two brand new methods of receiving alerts when stock is available for these extremely hot items. The two options are Google Group Email Alerts and Twitter Mobile TXT Alerts.

Google Groups Email Alerts

Google Group Email Alerts is a method we have used in the past with tremendous success. The email alerts are extremely fast and do not get held up by certain mail service providers, such as Yahoo. The downfall of using Google Groups for email delivery is the fact that there is no way to customize the alerts you receive. Twitter Mobile TXT Alerts

We were going to release a customized NowInStock.net Mobile TXT Alert system, however, given the vast amount of users currently subscribed along with the number of requests that have been made for TXT alerts, we have decided to resort to our previous Mobile TXT Alert option which utilizes Twitter. Once again, alerts are NOT customizable by using this option, however we will limit which units get sent to Twitter as well as how often alerts are sent.  Items which will be sent to Twitter are marked with a Twitter Icon () next to them within each respective tracker.

To receive Mobile TXT Alerts, sign up for a Twitter account, turn on Mobile/SMS  Twitter functionality, then “Follow” any of the three Twitter accounts listed below. If you are unfamiliar with Twitter, full instructions are located here. This system worked extremely well for the Wii and we hope the same occurs this time.

If you are already familiar with Twitter, the accounts to “Follow” and turn on Mobile Alerts for are:

Browser Alerts are just like Desktop Alerts, but they are run within the browser window. Browser Alerts track only the items you want to track and the page refreshes automatically. An ideal candidate for Browser Alerts will be anyone that has access to a web browser which can be open all day long. Typically someone who works on a computer all day.

The benefits of Browser Alerts:

• Customizable with only the items and stores you want to track
• Speed – No more alert delays as a result of email providers
• Automatically Refreshes – Status updates every 30 seconds against our databases
• Audio Alarms – Option for “In Stock” and/or “Preorder” Statuses
• Visible Alerts – Option for “In Stock” and/or “Preorder” Statuses

Browser Alerts will always be accessible through the My Account section. In order to use Browser Alerts:

1. You will need to sign up for an account and add the items you want alerts for.
2. After adding the items, “Turn ON” the Desktop/Browser Alert Switch for each of your desired items under the My Items page.
3. Then, navigate to the the Browser Alerts page.
4. Set up your Alert Options to the left
5. Sit back and wait.

Just remember, everytime you close your Browser Alerts browser window you will no longer hear or see alarms. You will need to open back up the Browser Alerts page to be notified!

Just finished adding the Mindflex Game Tracker. Mindflex is the newly released game from Mattel that makes you use your mind and the power of concentration to control actual physical objects without even touching them. Of all the recently released games, I think this game will be hot, but of course it all depends on the actual game play and how well the unit performs. Just got done adding two new trackers to the site.

Band Hero, which releases tomorrow, has been added. Not sure if this one will sell out, but adding a small list just in case. I do not anticipate these going to fast. It seems like the whole musical instrument video game genre is coming to a head.

After a few people made requests, we also added the hot Intel SSD X25M in stock tracker to track these hard-ti-find hard drives . It appears that stock is up to par right now, however it may sell out at any time.
