I love it whenever stock becomes available from those retailers that refuse to bundle their merchandise. In the case of Kinect and the Xbox 360 this year, we have seen the Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle being bundled again with other items. I call these the Bundled Bundles and those that do it the Bundle Bundlers. Today was the first day we saw some relief from this trend thanks to both Amazon and Buy.com.

It has come time to start adding Kinect Bundles to the Kinect In Stock Tracker. There continues to be a lack of standard Kinects available as stock rarely shows up and the last big offering of the stand alone units being last Friday at Amazon. As such we have begun adding the first of the Kinect Bundles to the tracker.

GameStop has a couple of Kinect Bundles, Sports, Fitness and Dance. Each of these GameStop Kinect Bundles comes with Kinect and two extra games for the low price of $250.

Dell Home/Consumer has been offering a multitude of bundle options. They have bundles with one game, bundles with two games, and bundles with Live Gold Subscriptions for all of your online gaming, plus they have bundles with an extra game and live subscription.

We have been featuring the Walmart Bundle for some time since Walmart never even had the stand alone Kinect for sale online.

The time has come to start seriously thinking bundles if you want the Kinect for Christmas day. If history tells anything when it comes to hot video game items, bundles rule the world when demand seriously outstrips supply.

Lalaloopsy Dolls are back… and hot! Black Friday seemed to wipe out inventories across the major retailers with only a few stragglers remaining. As a result of this increased demand and low inventory, Lalaloopsy has regained its position as a Hot Tracker. Along with this we have also added some Kmart listings to the tracker. Be forewarned, however, Kmart’s inventory system is lackluster at best and has a tendency to shoot a lot of errors. Not to mention that Kmart has multiple listings for each Lalaloopsy Doll they offer, so tracking might not always be accurate with these items. Kinect

If inventories of the Kinect devices remain low over this next week, we will begin adding Kinect Bundles which seem to be showing up. This is typical for really hot items in the video game arena. When the individual item sells out too quickly, our capitalistic minds kick in to soak the customer, such as the $250 Walmart Bundle. (This is why I love Amazon… they refrain from doing this.) Since we are all about finding the right item for our users in a timely fashion, we will offer tracking on a limited number of these Kinect Bundles as an option. B&H Photo

On a side note, this past week we started receiving errors when querying B&H Photo. This error has resulted in B&H being removed from the site. It is unfortunate, but until we can resolve the issue with B&H Photo, we are not able to track any items on their site. If you have B&H items in your account, they will remain in your account, and as soon as the issue is resolved, tracking will resume as normal. To ensure continued selection in the various trackers where B&H existed, we have added a lot of new items from Adorama and J&R. Also, this means that you can no longer add custom items for B&H as well. Sorry in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Microsoft Xbox 360

This past week we updated the Xbox 360 In Stock Tracker with the new Kinect Bundles. We noticed that inventories of specifically the 250GB Kinect Bundle have been very limited. So we added a bunch of store. We are also tracking the 4GB Kinect Bundle as well as the new Holiday Bundle. If you are looking for one of these, make sure to head over to this tracker and see what is available.

Kinect Tracker

Microsoft Kinect is blazing hot right now and we don’t see inventories catching up anytime soon. Make sure to spread the word about NowInStock.net to others you may know that are looking for Kinect. Come this Friday, when shipments should be released to consumers at tons of Black Friday sales, the real question will be how many will remain available.

As far as our in stock tracker for Kinect, we had to remove Kmart this week. Kmart’s inventory is just plain atrocious and constantly is displaying the wrong information to users, which means they are displaying the imporper information to us as well. Enough is enough, so we deactivated Kmart.

Nikon D7000

Nikon D7000 continues to fly off the shelves at all retailers except Best Buy which has had a steady supply of the Lens Kit version. I guess people really want to save that tax or Best Buy’s inventory is endless.

In other news regarding the Nikon D7000 tracker, Ritz has been removed for gross misrepresentation of actual inventories. With their site showing both the Body Only and Lens Kit versions as being in stock this past week, only for users to find out this was totally false after their orders were placed. As a result, we are no longer reporting on the D7000 at Ritz, at least until this product cools off and the tracker turns into a price comparison tool. It is clear that Ritz can’t handle being on an in stock tracker like NowInStock.net.

As far as additions this week in the D7000, we have added 2 new retailers: Vann’s and Buy.com. Both of these are only tracking the Lens Kit version of D7000. Once they have product pages for just the Body, we will add these as well.

Teacup Piggies

This weekend we added several new products under the Teacup Piggies line for Toys R Us. Also, we added Walmart to the tracker. Walmart’s selection is quite limited at this time, but I am sure inventory will start to show up sooner rather than later. If you are looking for Teacup Piggies, then head over to the tracker.

Squinkies

Squinkies appear to be slowing down. We think they might get the boot from the Hot Tracker section this week and moved to the standard trackers section. Tracking will continue on this item… so don’t worry, we are just going to slow it down. If the stock depletes and demand increases, then we will speed it back up.

Nikon D7000

We saw our first inventory show up at B&H this past week along with ABT. Stock at B&H sold out in a matter of minutes, while ABT took a few hours each time they had some. Both of these instances were for the D7000 Lens Kit; the D7000 Body only unit has yet to rear its head aside from the Ritz supposed stock. Kinect for Xbox 360

Kinect has been a shining star for certain. Reviews are finally in albeit with mixed reviews at best. The main criticism from the system is the amount of room necessary to use Kinect. But, these mixed reviews don’t mean it will be any less hard to find a unit. The Kinect-only package is the hardest to locate for certain with Microsoft Store raking in the reward for most “apparent” inventory. Next is Walmart which always wants show stock available, but you better get out your BIG wallet as they do not sell the unit without you requiring to add another game to your cart. Oh wait, they increased the requirements later this past week requiring you purchase two additional Kinect games. Popularity of these singing pets has seemed to stall a bit. Monster High Dolls

If there was one toy this holiday season we thought would take off, it had to be Monster High Dolls. As it stand now, Monster High has been performing very well in regards to selling out with the one exception being the Cleo/Duece Doll set that always seems to remain in stock wherever you look. Collector’s Edition Deal: There is no deal for the collector’s edition at Walmart. No eGift Card. No free codes.
