Newegg has requested that NowInStock.net no longer alerts users on the following list of items:

• NVIDIA RTX 3000 Series GPUs
• AMD 5000 Series CPUs
• AMD RX 6000 Series GPUS

We will continue to track and alert on all other items.

This year we are going to try something new for Amazon Prime Day (October 13 & 14, 2020). We are going to set up notification channels within Discord & Telegram where you can receive notification alerts for Amazon Prime Day Daily & Lightning Deals throughout the two-day event. Currently, this is for the Amazon US only. Canada may be added time permitting.

We recently began receiving several emails daily questioning how things work, or for that matter, how things don’t seem to work. We also are seeing many new visitors to our website. As a result, I will provide a brief update. I will try to keep this as quick and as simple as possible.

Understand, if you receive an alert, it is because we saw stock was available for purchase regardless of the sources we use to determine that availability. So in simple terms, we saw stock was available and alerted you. Whether you were able to purchase that item or not is dependent on a few factors:

We have just implemented an alerting BETA test option via DISCORD for some of our USA-based trackers. This will be a limited test until we try to determine whether or not it is fit for our needs moving forward.

Below are the text alerting issues we have been experiencing.

Our popularity over the past few years has grown substantially. As a result, it appears that we have tripped several flags at multiple mobile carriers when it comes to our text alerts.

8/25/23 – It appears TextNow is no longer accepting our email-to-SMS messages. They are not a viable options for text alerts.

We know text alerts are the most ideal delivery mechanism for our alerts. And we have tried to ensure that our alerts are received by every carrier out there, but unfortunately, we have met resistance time and time again. This message is for those of you that no longer receive text alerts because of these mobile carrier issues or for those who want text alerts but your carrier is not active within our system.

UPDATE: 01-07-2019
We have finally made contact with AT&T, however, we have yet to resolve the issue. We will update when we know more. In the interim, please use option 1 below to receive our alerts and sorry for the confusion.

UPDATE 2017-02-13: Fido.ca texting turned back ON. Please visit this page to ensure you have set up your Fido service. Send a text to 3436 with “Allow nowinstock.net” to ensure our messages are not blocked.

2017-02-09: Wireless carrier Fido.ca SMS alerting has been turned off. They are blocking our text alerts from going through. If you want Fido turned back on, you subscribers need to talk with Fido. The same thing happened with T-mobile and users spoke up. T-Mobile contacted us to resolve the issue. It works, you just need to let them know how you feel… https://twitter.com/Fidomobile

To our users who use AOL for their email: Email alerts destined for aol.com, prior to 11:00 AM today, have been TURNED OFF as AOL continually delays our emails.

Option 1

We suggest you log in and change your email to another provider. Then turn on email alerting for your items in order to continue receiving our alerts in a timely manner. Gmail remains the most trust worthy provider.

Option 2

If you would like to ignore our above advice and try to continue receiving email from us to your aol.com email address, you will need to log in to your account and turn email alerting back on for each of your items. If you proceed with this method, there is clearly no guarantee on the delivery times.

Sorry for this inconvenience, however, once we reach a certain threshold with AOL, deliveries of emails tanks. Smaller queues to AOL seem to pass, but as they grow into the thousands issues arise.
