Yesterday evening, I released a new tracker on the site. It is for the game from MTV Games and EA – Rock Band. While preorders have been hard to find, I can only think that the game itself will become even more hard to find. A report from a friend that works at the local Best Buy states that every day kids are coming in to play.

Just as the third edition of Guitar Hero remains one of the hottest items on the market for this year, I feel that the social/team aspect of Rock Band really takes simulation/music games to the next level. Reviews across the web appear to be above average for this game, and what is better than referrals for units from those very individuals that visited Best Buy everyday to wait in line to play the in store demo.

So, if stock sells out today, which I feel is going to be the case; make sure to sign up for the email alerts over at the Rock Band Tracker. And, as always, if there are errors PLEASE let me know. I now have more products being tracked than ever and ensuring that all the links work and alerts are accurate is becoming more of a challenge.

As I just officially launched my new Guitar Hero 3 Tracker, what happens other than Circuit City having the Wii Bundle IN STOCK! Snag them up while you can!

Today, I have gone live with a dedicated Guitar Hero 3 In Stock Tracker. This new tracker will be tracking GH3 for Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3. As it works for all the other stock trackers on the site, just sign up for the free email alerts associated to the platform and store of you choice and as soon as my spiders see that particular model is in stock, I will shoot you an email. There is also an RSS feed, however, these can be a little less responsive than emails.

For those of you who already signed up for Guitar Hero 3 alerts, whenever I was just tracking the GH3 for Wii under the Wii Accessories Tracker, do not fear. Your alerts will still work, and there is no need to change a thing.

As time progresses and the market starts to take shape, I may add more stores to the list. This is all dependent on the market and availability. So, please check back over the next few days to see any new stores I add. If you see a new store, sign up in the same manner, confirm the email, and you will be good to go.

All Guitar Hero 3 Bundles are now being tracked under the Guitar Hero 3 Tracker. There is no need to resubscribe if you were previously subscribed to the email alerts for the Wii GH3 bundles. All previous alert sign ups will work without issue.

Circuit City has updated their website and as a result I am now able to track Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. Sign up for alerts under the Wii Accessories Tracker in order to receive alerts as to when they come back in stock. I will try to monitor this one as closely as possible to ensure errors, if any, are limited. I am a little skeptical as a result of the way the CC site was displaying them in stock previously.

This evening I may add a full Guitar Hero 3 Tracker to the site. If I do, I will update the Wii Alerts so they appear under this tracker instead. If you already subscribe to receive alerts on GH3 for Wii, there will be NO need to sign up again. The alerts will still function as normal. If anybody else notices stock deficiencies in other platforms, Xbox 360 or PS3, please let me know. As a matter of a fact if there are any other products you want tracked send them in and I will see what I can do!

I have added the Guitar Hero 3 Bundle for the Nintendo Wii to the Wii Accessories tracker. This will enable you to sign up for in stock email alerts for this bundle. Currently I am tracking Amazon and Gamestop. I will add more as we go, but for now these are the only ones being tracked.

I tried to add Circuit City, but it appears they have adjusted their system and are showing it in stock where I normally check. However, whenever you go through the checkout process it is clear that they do not have it available online. If I am able to figure this out, I will go forth with adding it to the list of stores being tracked for the Guitar Hero 3 Bundle.

All, sorry about the errors this morning on Sears price. I made a few adjustments last night and now have fixed the issue. While the stock status of Sears will continue to be an issue because of their site displaying incorrect inventory status, the pricing is fixed. I am sure quite a few of you were a little shocked by the price sent in the email. I trap the stock status as well as the prices and sometimes when sites make adjustments the price has the potential to get messed up. We should be good from here on out.

As Best Buy preps for the holidays, so does NowInStock.net. I just added the 3 bundles they have on the site. These new bundles are not overly priced like we saw last year from a lot of retailers. Here is what the following bundles include:

• Starter Bundle – Console, Wii Play w/Remote, Mario Party 8, Extra Nunchuk, and My Mii Manager
• Nintendo Fan Bundle – Console, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Extra Remote Controller
• Sports Bundle – Console, Madden NFL 08, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, Extra Remote Controller

This year, Microsoft has pulled some stops and is now releasing bundles for the holiday season. These new bundles will consist of two full, free games including Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. This should aid in swaying some customers in their direction, however with the Wii still doing some pretty good domination this entire year, it will still be an interesting season to see who comes out on top. The premium console will be priced at $350 and the Elite system will be $450.

The crimson/black, two-tone DS Lite that was previously available on through the Brain Age 2 Bundle, is now available for purchase unbundled. The units are already available on Amazon for the standard $129. To me this unit looks really slick compared to all of the other colors. It looks more professional and non-toy like.
