Kmart Has Wii’s In Stock!

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

Yes, Kmart has/had Wii’s In Stock!

kmart

And, I guess they didn’t have many. I will wait a little longer before I remove it from the tracker. Kmart being owned by Sears runs the same type of website… inventory issues.

7:48 – I guess they are proactive on the Kmart Team. Page is shut down already, I will leave it in the tracker.

Amazon had Wii’s

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

I really hope everyone got their alerts in time. I was just out at lunch when I got a mobile alert. My friend had his Motorola Q so we jumped on a checked and sure enough there was stock available. If you received alerts late I am sorry. I also check my Yahoo account, and I received my Google Groups alert in box at 12:17, just one minute after my spiders first noticed Wii stock available.

Toys R Us is Floating

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

Why do I keep seeing the Toys R Us bundle in stock and whenever I click on the link there is no stock?

I call this inventory floating. It happens with Walmat too. My spiders see the unit in stock when they make a visit and that is why I report it. If you want to take your chances, I suggest you sit on the site for a while and just continually hit refresh or press Ctrl + F5 to refresh the page every so often. You may just be lucky and see it in stock. I believe this floating typically occurs whenever older orders get canceled, human canceled or credit failure, and a unit is released back into the inventory system.

I have since taken down the bundle in order to eliminate history fill up. Clearly they have very few bundles available.

CompUSA Build a Bundle Error

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

All, I just wanted to let you know this one is open to return errors. Typically, I wouldn’t even have added it because I have yet to see it in stock. But, I added it because we are nearer to Christmas and wanted to give everyone the best opportunity to get a Wii. Until I see the page with units in stock, I might throw errors your way for this bundle. Bear with it, you might just be able to snag one.

Sears Wii’s This Morning – 12/17

Monday, December 17th, 2007

Sears has now been taken down as stock is no longer available.

Mobile Alerts being Late: It appears that we got our alerts too late because Twitter is under maintenance. One of those issues I guess we will just have to deal with. At least I didn’t receive mine till 7:50 AM this morning.

Google Groups Update Never Occurred: This one I am working on. The update did go out to the group, yet there was never a post made. There may be a few test posts that go out in this manner until I get the issue resolved. It is something within the email system.

I will update all here once I figure out the issue.

Sears had Wii’s In Stock

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

I have since removed the Sears Wii Wii Bundle from the tracker list as they are having the typical inventory issues over at Sears… Showing stock as available, when in reality it is not.  Once they rectrify this issue, I will turn it back on for tracking.

Circuit City had Wii Stock But…

Friday, December 14th, 2007

check your orders to ensure you have the Wii Console on your order. I tried to order as soon as I got the alert, and as I proceeded through the checkout, the console was sold out! However, they were still willing to send me everything else. Just to be safe, check your order or confirmation email to ensure the Console is there. Your cost should be at least $300+ for the bundle.

Sam’s Removed

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

I am removing Sam’s as  a result of their site working improperly.  They are showing stock available only after adding to the cart does it say no stock available. I will turn it back on when the system is working properly again.

Amazon Did Have Wii’s

Tuesday, December 11th, 2007

Yes, folk Amazon did have Wii’s. Quite a few people have already thanked me.

If you went to the site around 5:16 PM, and saw no stock available, then you should have refreshed. Always stick around on a site and refresh. Sometimes my alerts can be faster than the Amazon site in going live. I will spare you the details, just stick around next time and REFRESH!

Also, if you were fortunate enough to get a Wii from Amazon, please unsubscribe from the alerts to open bandwidth for others.

Thank you,
Justin

Newegg Wii Combo?

Monday, December 10th, 2007

Holy Comments! It will take me a while to go through these and moderate. There are a lot of dupes in here.

Yes, it was kind of bad with Newegg.com doing this, but it has been done before with other companies. They are just like any other company out there selling bundles. I showed $249.99 on the tracker and in the email, because that is what I saw there on the site. I will take down the price checking for Newegg.com to ensure that I am doing all I can on my end to not lead users into false hopes.

I would just like to state for the record that I have ordered from Newegg.com many times before for computer parts. I basically built my first PC ever from parts delivered by them over 4 years ago. They are a top-notch company for sure. Their customer service and delivery speed is well-known to be one of the best in the business.

In my eyes, they are right up there with Amazon. In fact, if I were Amazon, I might actually think about buying them to cover that end of the business where Amazon lacks.
