Are you ready for some Wii stock?

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

I am predicting that within the next day or two either Amazon or Circuit City will have Wii’s in stock. Heck maybe even both will have them. If history is any indicator of the future, I will be right and may consider a career change. If I am wrong, well then maybe I will join the carnival.

Amazon Preorders for Xbox 360 Elite Now!

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

That is right folks. After that spurt the other day, they are now taking preorders again. Get ’em while they last because I am not sure how long they will stick around!

Speak of the devil, they are already gone again before I could even finish my post. Hope all of you who wanted one got one. From what I can tell, I think Amazon is already shipping them too. So you might even get it before Sunday, the official release!

Sears Error? No. Well, at least not on my part.

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Those of you that got the Sears email alert got it for good reason. The page was labeled as in stock and I verified this with my cached snapshot. However, as is common with Sears, it appears that you weren’t able to order, or more appropriately, complete the checkout process. Since I am currently only sending out email alerts once every 4 hours, I would periodically check this page in case they come back in stock or continue to try the Sears page.

Given that Sears never released a batch of Wii’s this past week when everyone else did, they still maybe holding them, hence we could potentially view this as a hint of what is to come. 😉

Turning off Circuit City Console Only Tracking

Thursday, April 19th, 2007

Since CC appears to be showing in stock for the console, when it is obvious you can not order if you have tried.

Wii’s In Stock… It was a good day!

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

I hope everyone that wanted a Wii was able to snag one up today. After about a month of Wii’s nowhere to be found except for those few at Walmart, the jackpot was hit today courtesy of Circuit City and Amazon. It all started with Amazon releasing their batch at noon, which all sold out  as quick as this past holiday season. A few minutes later, Circuit City unleashed their inventory to please those that missed Amazon.

Preorders still available at Circuit City… but better be quick!

Monday, April 9th, 2007

While I was working on the site last night around 11:30 PM, I was reviewing my work on the CC pages trying to tweak them for complete accuracy, I noticed they did have preorders available. The only problem is that the preorder was only available for a minute or two. Could this just have been an error? Well I didn’t try to order one, so I don’t know, but it is always worth a shot. The script checking for CC inventory should now be working fully, so sign up for alerts, but just remember you might need to be really quick! ~Justin

Circuit City Preorders Sold Out

Friday, April 6th, 2007

It appears that the preorders at Circuit City have ended. I have fixed the checking script and now it no longer says in stock, so we will have to wait and see. I have it set up so that if preorders do come back, an alert will be sent out.

New Black XBox 360 Solidifying

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

As reported from different sources, a new black version of the Xbox 360 is supposedly to rear its head in the near future. The key features to this new model are the addition of a bigger hard drive of 120 GB as well as the addition of an HDMI port.

The big disappointments to me are the lack of built-in wireless connection and the lack of an HD-DVD player. These two features are essential in my eyes, with wireless networking being most important. I currently do not own a 360, but if this model, in the end, includes wireless connectivity I may buy one.
