Canon has released their first mirrorless camera model, the Canon EOS M, combining the imaging quality of a DSLR with the convenience of a point and shoot in one single body. The small, portable size allows you to easily take it everywhere you go, so you’re always ready to capture the world around you.

The EOS M is perfect for those looking to upgrade from a point and shoot but not ready to take the leap to a larger DSLR model. Though not quite as compact as a point and shoot, the EOS M is still significantly smaller than a DSLR while allowing interchangeable lens capabilities and better optics than a built-in lens camera can offer. The Canon EOS M employs an entirely new lens mount not found in other mirrorless cameras called the EF-M. While the EF-M is the proprietary lens line for Canon Mirrorless cameras, an optional lens adapter allows compatibility with the entire line of Canon EF and EF-S lenses.
