Amazon had Wii’s
I really hope everyone got their alerts in time. I was just out at lunch when I got a mobile alert. My friend had his Motorola Q so we jumped on a checked and sure enough there was stock available. If you received alerts late I am sorry. I also check my Yahoo account, and I received my Google Groups alert in box at 12:17, just one minute after my spiders first noticed Wii stock available.

I managed to get one on amazon! Got a text message via twitter (but from following a different site) and snagged one. They were up for a long time this time! Thanks for this site, although I got the text from the other site first, I got my email at almost the same time from nowinstock!

I received my alert at 9:37 am, great just great. I give up I’m never gonna get one.

I was also able to get one from Amazon! I was helping my boss get one for his kids. Thanks for the great website. GL to everyone who’s still looking.

Yay, I got one on amazon after trying for 3 weeks! Thanks so much!
December 18th, 2007 at 12:55
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I finally got a Wii for my nephew and one for my boyfriend’s son from Amazon. After weeks of trying, it feels so good to see that order confirmation. And, I didn’t have to freeze in line to get them. Good luck to those still searching.
December 18th, 2007 at 12:55
I still haven’t received an alert on amazon.
December 18th, 2007 at 12:56
Only took about a month to finally get one via Amazon. That’s Justin. Now it’s time to unsubscribe.

Thank you Dustin, but how were you subscribed? Via my own alerts or through the Google Group? I need to know this to ensure Hotmail.com is not blocking me either. Use my contact form to let me know.

I tried the contact form but it has a MySQL error. I’m signed up through your alerts.

There is a Santa Claus! Thanks Justin! I picked up 3 today.

Justin – I can’t get email alerts from work, so I’ve been faithfully refreshing your website for days now. I snagged one from Amazon for my nephew, the one gift he REALLY wanted! Thanks so much, your site is terrific!
December 18th, 2007 at 13:04
Haha.
I just got my email, half an hour late.
December 18th, 2007 at 13:07
What’s the point of using the service when it gives you an alert after it’s already sold out rather than when it comes in-stock? Just to make you feel worse every time when you could have gotten one if the service worked for you like it seems to work for everyone else?
December 18th, 2007 at 13:09
My email just barely came
December 18th, 2007 at 13:09
Justin- I got my cell phone alert at 9:37 am (too late) and email at 10:02 am. I don’t know why its taking time for the email on gmail usually gmail is very fast. Well next time.

Dustin,
Thank you, I am looking into it. I would suggest you sign up via the Google Group as a backup. Click on the email notifications link on the Wii tracker page.
Kevin, are you subscribed via me as well? If so I suggest the Google Group method above.
For all it is Google Group: NowInStockWiis

Thank you so much Justin. I was able to get a Wii for my 86 year old great-grandmother! We’re hoping she’ll play the Wii Sport to stay active. You’re awesome!

I keep your webpage up at work and refresh every now and then when I get a chance. Have missed several times but got lucky today. I was able to get one on amazon. A co-worker tried at the same time and could not get one. I already had an account with them, I think this helped. My kids are going to be soooo happy. Thank you Justin!!

Amazon will probably get more today, right?
December 18th, 2007 at 13:20
I got my notification too late at 12.32pm – when the wii’s were out of stock. Hopefully will get one by xmas.

Matt-
What website did you use for your twitter update????
I did not receive my text until 11:36 AM (CST). THIS SUCKS!
December 18th, 2007 at 13:29
Thanks, Justin. Got 2 today – one for us and one for a friend. Tried to get 3 – one for my hubby’s boss (brown noser!!), but could only get 2 from Amazon!!!
You R-O-C-K!!!
I will say the Google group alert comes faster than your regular one (I get both). The regular alert came too late, they were already gone, but the Google one came fast!!!!
December 18th, 2007 at 13:31
Thanks Justin – got one at Amazon and that’s three you’ve helped me get over the past several months. You’re awesome!
December 18th, 2007 at 13:36
I received the email at 12:16, but I forgot my Amazon Account info. By the time I remembered it they sold out 🙁
December 18th, 2007 at 13:41
woo-hoo – wonderful! Got the email and the alert about the same time. Even using pokey DSL got one. Thankfully I have an account with Amazon so that helped. I’m happy for my son who will be quite surprised and delighted (I had told him no way – changed my mind unbeknownst to him), but I’m even happier for myself: once I decided to go this route, it’s been nothing but anxiety. Your site (and the results) have made the next week much more pleasant. Thanks Justin. Really.

December 18th, 2007 at 14:20
I got one! thanks guys! it took 4 days of constant email monitoring, but this site works!
December 18th, 2007 at 14:21
Thanks Justin, got a Wii for my aunt to give her grandkids. They are going to be so surprised!
December 18th, 2007 at 14:26
My email came through right at 12:17pm, but it figures they’d add stock while I was at lunch and not during the other eight hours I’m in front of the computer. Try, try, again, I suppose.
